What Responsible Gaming Means to Us
At 778pub, we take our duty of care towards Filipino players seriously. Our responsible gaming framework is built on the principle that everyone who plays on our platform should be able to do so in a safe, transparent, and controlled environment. We are committed to providing the tools, information, and support necessary to help our members maintain healthy gaming habits — and to step in proactively when warning signs appear.
Online casino gaming and sports betting are legal, licensed activities in the Philippines, regulated under the oversight of PAGCOR (Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation). 778pub fully embraces PAGCOR's responsible gaming standards and actively promotes its player protection guidelines. We encourage all players to familiarize themselves with PAGCOR's responsible gaming resources and support programs.
The responsible gaming program at 778pub covers several key areas: age verification to keep underage individuals off the platform, deposit and loss limits to help players stay within their budget, self-exclusion tools for players who need a break or a permanent block, reality checks and session time reminders, and access to professional help for those who may be experiencing gambling-related harm.
Whether you are a casual player enjoying a few rounds of bingo on a weekend or a regular on our Dragon Gate and live dealer tables, 778pub wants your gaming experience to stay enjoyable, affordable, and well within your control. Sugal ay para sa aliwan — gambling is for entertainment, and we mean it.
21+ Age Requirement — Strictly Enforced
Under Philippine law and PAGCOR regulations, online casino gaming is strictly limited to individuals who are 21 years of age or older. 778pub enforces this requirement through rigorous Know Your Customer (KYC) verification during account registration.
All new members must submit a valid government-issued ID (Philippine passport, driver's license, UMID, SSS ID, or Voter's ID) confirming they are at least 21 years old. Accounts that fail age verification are permanently closed, and any winnings or deposits associated with underage accounts are subject to forfeiture.
Is Your Gaming Healthy?
Problem gambling can affect anyone, regardless of age, background, or financial status. The key is recognizing the warning signs early and taking action before gambling starts causing real harm to your life. Honest self-assessment is the first step towards regaining control.
Ask yourself the following questions. If you answer "yes" to three or more, we strongly encourage you to use 778pub's self-exclusion tools and reach out for professional support:
Responsible Gaming Self-Assessment
Do you find yourself spending more money on gambling than you originally planned or can afford?
Have you ever borrowed money, sold personal belongings, or neglected financial obligations to fund your gaming activity?
Do you feel restless, irritable, or anxious when you try to reduce your gambling or stop altogether?
Has gambling caused arguments, tension, or problems in your relationships with family, friends, or colleagues?
Do you find yourself chasing losses — continuing to gamble in an attempt to win back money you have already lost?
Have you tried to cut back or stop gambling multiple times without success?
Do you gamble to escape stress, depression, personal problems, or negative emotions rather than purely for entertainment?
Have you ever lied to family members or others about the time or money you spend on gambling?

Player Protection Features at 778pub
We have built a comprehensive set of responsible gaming tools directly into the 778pub platform so that every player has full control over their gaming experience at all times.
Self-Exclusion Program
Players who feel they need a complete break from gaming can activate self-exclusion directly from their 778pub account dashboard. Choose from a temporary cooling-off period of 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or 90 days — or request a permanent self-exclusion with no reversal. Once activated, you will be locked out of all 778pub games and promotions for the duration of your chosen period.
Deposit Limits
Set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits on your 778pub account to make sure you never spend more than your budget allows. Deposit limit reductions take effect immediately. Limit increases are subject to a 72-hour waiting period to protect against impulsive decisions. This tool is available for all Philippine payment methods including GCash, PayMaya, BPI, and BDO transfers.
Session Time Reminders
It is easy to lose track of time when you are deep into a session on 778pub's live tables or slots. Our session time reminder feature sends an on-screen notification after a set period — 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 2 hours — reminding you how long you have been playing and prompting you to take a break. Consistent breaks help maintain perspective and keep gaming recreational.
Loss Limits
In addition to deposit controls, 778pub allows you to set a maximum loss threshold per day, week, or month. When your net losses reach the limit you have set, your account is automatically restricted from further play until the period resets. This prevents the dangerous cycle of chasing losses and keeps your bankroll within the boundaries you have decided on ahead of time.
KYC Age Verification
778pub uses strict Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures to verify that every registered player is at least 21 years old, in compliance with Philippine gaming laws. All accounts must submit a valid government-issued ID before a first withdrawal can be processed. Unverified accounts face temporary play restrictions, and any accounts found to belong to minors are permanently closed.
24/7 Support & Referrals
Our dedicated responsible gaming support team is available around the clock via live chat and email. If you are struggling with your gambling habits, our trained agents can walk you through account restriction options, help you activate self-exclusion, and point you toward professional counseling services and support groups available in the Philippines — all confidentially and without judgment.

Tips for Keeping Gaming Fun and Responsible
Beyond the built-in tools on the 778pub platform, here are practical tips that can help you maintain a healthy relationship with online gaming. These are habits practiced by experienced, responsible players across Manila, Cebu, Davao, Makati, and all over the Philippines:
- Set a budget before you play. Decide in advance how much money you are comfortable spending — not winning, but spending. Treat it like the cost of entertainment, similar to buying a movie ticket or going out for dinner. Only use disposable income, never rent money, grocery funds, or savings.
- Set a time limit. Decide how long you will play before you start. Use 778pub's session time reminder to alert you when your limit is reached, then log out and do something else. A clear exit point prevents hours from disappearing without notice.
- Never chase your losses. Losing streaks happen to everyone. Chasing losses — continuing to play or increasing your bets to recover what you have lost — is one of the most common paths to problem gambling. Accept losses as part of the game and walk away when you hit your limit.
- Do not play under emotional stress. Gambling while angry, depressed, or anxious is a red flag. Playing to escape negative emotions almost always leads to impulsive decisions and bigger losses. If you are not in a clear, calm headspace, skip the session.
- Keep gambling separate from alcohol. Drinking impairs judgment and lowers inhibitions, which can lead to careless bets and poor bankroll management. Keep your gaming sessions clear-headed so you can make rational decisions.
- Take regular breaks. Even when things are going well, take breaks every 45 to 60 minutes. Stand up, get water, step outside. Breaks reset your perspective and help you stay in control of the session rather than getting swept up in it.
- Keep loved ones in the loop. Transparency with a trusted family member or friend about your gaming habits creates a natural accountability system. If someone close to you expresses concern about your gambling, take it seriously — they often notice changes before you do.
The responsible gaming team at 778pub is always available to discuss any concerns you may have. You are never alone in this. Our support agents speak English and Filipino, and they handle all responsible gaming inquiries with complete confidentiality and compassion.
